Committed to the "greatest personal development" of each child, the school is structured around small groupings and individualized academic programs. Upon entering, every child follows a personalized program, which is individually prescribed with daily changes made under the continual guidance of our experienced staff. Contrasting with traditional classroom sizes, the learning groups at the Center maintain a ratio of one teacher for every four to eight students.
The Center functions on a twelve-month calendar. The summer program is available to all students for remediation, credit and non-credit courses or advanced studies.
All of the students enjoy programs of unusual quality encompassing the traditional academic subjects, as well as critical thinking, psychology, sociology, creative writing, and current events.
